Any recommendations for sourcing a local beef in College Station? Looking for a whole steer.

There are folks at the farmers markets on Saturday selling beef...could chat with them about purchasing a whole steer. I'd start with the big dude in the cowboy hat at the market at Post Oak Mall.
There is a guy in Anderson that always has full steer that posts often
Might check with Circle P feed store. They have local beef

Another vote for Field to Family. They're a local family that farms and ranches, so they even grow part of their cattle's ration in addition to raising their own herd. Lends itself to very good quality control that I can say after several orders we've placed, even though its not graded, everything they're putting out is either choice or prime. Very good quality.
Whole or half beef isnt listed on their website, but they can still do that for you if you ask, just reach out and chat with them about it.
