Again, I know he's terrible. But the thing is seems the team now realizes that also. He hasn't played in 3 of the last 4 games. Still lost all 4. Our big guys not being able to deliver with risp and our supposed best back half bullpen in baseball are our bigger issues.

I hear you. He's just one of the issues they're having. He hasn't really produced since he's been here…save a few months late last season. Did you know the Astros lead MLB in hits this season? They're just not timely. BP collapsing. Bregman scuffling. Starting pitchers hurt. On and on. Yet they're only 6.5 back in the abysmal West.

Anyone with any sense knows, Singleton should be released immediately, and Abreu should be buried on the bench indefinitely. Eat the contract and move on. These guys are automatic outs in an already anemic lineup.

He also had one of the worst at bats I've seen in a long time, chase a high pitch then watch two heaters down the middle without the bat coming off the shoulder. In a critical spot of the game too
