Is this a Tine thing, or are most big cities loaded with similar personalities?

Yes. Also mid-sized cities. Small cities too.

Eric Dick's latest commercial is a long bomb that misses the target.

Pusch is an Aggie.

Nguyen has on his page that he graduated from Debakey.

Those billboards are unhinged.

I saw a new one today but I can't remember the lawyers name. I'll have to keep an eye out tomorrow.

Just so weird on the business side. Knew one of them from school and he's genuinely just a very nice guy but I'm curious how the lifestyle/business complex affects them over time.

Morris Bart in Louisiana spends about 7mm a year on billboards.

Were you just dropped on earth by aliens recently for the first time? Or have you never left Houston?. I can't wait til you have to one day drive through Louisiana and see all the ones there.

Contingency plaintiff work is a numbers game. Those guys with commercials and billboards spend absurd money on marketing but it works.

Pro tip: if you're ever in a situation where you need a contingency plaintiff lawyer, ask a friend that is a lawyer. Don't respond to an ad or a billboard.

That's cool, they also do a lot of PTO sponsorships at my kid's school.

He's been in Shawshank Prison for 17 years. Give him a break.

I prefer the sexually charged dentist billboards. Nothing says debauchery like braces

There have always been PI lawyer billboards here (and throughout Texas and elsewhere) ...but the numbers have gone way up recently. Supposedly part of that is private equity funding.

Add to that an increase in asshattery, ******baggery, and COVID-induced ****nuts.

I would think as much as anything, it's just the change in media consumption. People are streaming with limited or no commercials now. About the only effective areas to place advertising now are live sports, which the average PI lawyer probably can't afford, and highway billboards.

I spoke with a company does advertising for one of these law firms.

They told me a billboard is not a good way to advertise. Even two or three does not do much good. The strategy here is to have so many billboards that are are everywhere. So everywhere you go, you keep seeing the law firm. Over and over.

I don't know the amounts being paid, but know it's in the millions. Pusch & Ngyuen went from essentially nobodies to being one of the top MVA firms in Houston. They are killing it.

I mean if that guy's job is to sell billboards, he's killing it.

Yes. And negotiate the fee.

Because the lawyer working up the case is not splitting it 50-50 or 60-40 with the referral attorney (the one who runs the ads), you can get a much lower fee. Like 30% instead of 40% on a really good case with liability and damages.
