Headed to Laredo for work next week and have two dinner opportunities. Twenty years ago I would have crossed the river. El Capataz seems interesting. Always liked The Tack Room when staying at La Posada. I've been to Palenque Grill before. Any place I need to go?

Been to Capataz a few times now the food was good and atmosphere as well. My last trip we went to Palenque Grill it is in the same area as Capataz. The place looked crowded but they sat us right away. Drinks and food were on point.

Capataz is where I ended up one night and it was really good. Next night I went to the Palenque Grill on 35. Food was OK but the place was a morgue. The guy who served me had just started back since the shutdown two years ago.
