I remember when I lived in Austin ~20 years ago I saw an F40 driving down William Cannon. It's the only one I've seen outside a car show.

Over $42K for that thing! My parents had two, the last was a 1991 240 station wagon in navy blue, manual trans. I never knew what the power rating was until today - 114 hp. It was not my favorite car. I wrecked it after the 1996 game with tu on the lower part of I-35 in Austin (near the Fiesta) when some dip**** stopped in the middle lane. Got it repaired and then they sold it a few years later. they also had a 1980 or '81 we drove all over Europe. Sold it to a guy in Lubbock in 1992.Tim Weaver said:

Yea there was an Oxford with cinnamon interior that came up recently. I remember when it sold on BAT in 2019. Should have done it then as the damn things have gotten bonkers expensive.

It went for $60k 2 months ago, and I don't think the market has gotten any stronger. I guess the paint is keeping the value down quite a bit. But for a nice driver C2 it seems like a solid car.Schall 02 said:
