That thing is a rust bucket, Would not even pay that price for it. Look at the other 100 crusier auctions though. Two have sold with over 100k miles recently for 37k and 43k!

I know. I'm sick about it. Told the seller to pass my info on to the buyer and tell him I want to buy it. Have not heard anything. I stopped at 17k because of the poor paint job with rust bubbles on the fenders, glue or rust stains bleeding through the new headliner, black vinyl hardtop was coming undone because of poor install, power steering pump removed to make it manual without a manual rack swapped in, missing inspection plate on transmission, etc. Made me wonder what else I would find half done.

Seems like a good pass with all of that. Why would you be upset about that decision?

Because I wanted the car, and could have lived with the flaws. It's a good driver quality car, and the 351w with aluminum heads and efi and the 4r70w transmission with electronic controller is the only way I would own one. I've shopped them since and will end up with a bunch more in one to equal that car. Another problem is they are super rare, think they only made 20 or 30k of them and most aren't around anymore
