Aftermarket keys don't do anything for ride. You're still cranking the stock bar. All the aftermarket key does is re index normal ride height higher than stock and allow you to crank it further than the stock key would allow before running out of adjustment. For the aftermarket key to get the added height, it's still cranking the bar.
If all you're wanting to do is level it, just crank it and get a realignment.

Is there a go to mild lift for these that will ride close to OE? 2-3 inches max. 5100s?
They're torsion sprung so you'd have to get new keys to keep it close to stock ride. You'll also want to put in longer shocks.

I am contemplating buying an 03' suburban.
It has 202,000 on it. The family has taken good care of it but they do not use it much.
Is 3k a decent price?
