Obviously Von deserves a TON of credit for choosing to remain a man of character. But everything I've heard about his mom is that she raised him right.
At a recent football game, the announcers said they had asked Von if his mom was at the game. Von replied that 'she hadn't even missed a school assembly since I was in Jr. High'
Sounds to me like his mom was there for him growing up, and it paid off.
Kudos to both.
