Keep the wonderful traditions at A&M but add a few new things. I feel the dance team and/or cheerleaders would just be an updated addition to cheering on the team. In 2022 it is almost feeling a little sexist to exclude any women being on the field or sidelines to show support for the Aggies.

We'll just about every single sideline reporter, either college or pro, is a female. That's really grasping at straws….
No grasping at anything. All I am saying is that it would be a nice updated addition to add the cheer/dance team. Only having male yell leaders is very outdated in this day and age.. its not 1950 anymore. It's time to be more inclusive to women participating in game day.. not just reporting/working from the sidelines. KEEP the tradition and add to them. Not debating you.. just my opinion.

Seriously, I see no value added. They have the dance team at basketball and that honestly seems more appropriate. Football? What is tradition then? I would have attended another university if that crap was important to me.

Honest question, outside of something to look at for those that don't want to watch the football game, do you really think cheerleaders matter at all to the atmosphere or game?

The answer is always yes.

We need to get with the times.
Thanks for shining a light on the most concerning aspect of our football program. It's a relief to know that absolutely everything else is in good shape and we can focus on this critical issue.

We are going to eventually have cheerleaders no matter what anybody tries to say about cheerleaders not being part of Aggie tradition. The truth is, this year we really could have used some cheerleaders on the sidelines during football games to offset the crap we were watching on the gridiron this year. We also could have used some cheerleaders on the sidelines and on the field during Midnight Yell to offset the crap we were watching (and hearing) at Kyle from the yell boys.

We get it, you hate the Yell Leaders. Why don't you put on a skirt and start the tradition?
We get that you have an awkward fascination with the Aggie yell leaders, and we respect your need to continue to awkwardly post here on TexAgs in support of the yell boys. Really, there is no need to hide your true feelings about that when you post here on TexAgs. We here in the Zoo are open-minded about your preferences. Remember, here on TexAgs "Y'all means all" and that is a good thing. The reality is that Texas A&M University needs to stop pretending it is in the segregationist and misogynistic 1950s and have cheerleaders (of both genders, i.e. female and male) to support our Fightin' Texas Aggies. Your assumption about telling me as a male former student to put on a skirt to be a Texas A&M cheerleader is part of the sexism that needs to be eradicated from TexAgs, Texas A&M University, and the Texas A&M former students. We support you and are here for you, our Aggie brother. God Bless you as you find your path in this challenging and difficult journey to identify who you are sexually and with your sexuality.

Here is a list of National Champions in the past 50 years that do not have cheerleaders and/or dance team on the sidelines:

Here's some of USF's finest. They're 1-10 this year. Clearly they're helping.

Just something to think about during your rush to be just like everyone else. Porn is fairly accessible these days if you need fap material.

Or so I'm told.

Not one damn bit. And anyone that says otherwise is lying.

Been playing with online AI images, and I've made cheerleaders at Kyle.

I know I'm not the first. I'm probably not even the first to post them on TexAgs. But I am the first to post the pictures of one getting baked in the Zone. Oh the scandal!!

We don't do that here...

American societal decay eating away at the country and A&M traditions. I'm old enough to remember when our band marched to Dixie. I'd hate to see a world war but that maybe the only thing that could stop or even reverse the slide.

Because I paid upwards of $100 or whatever to watch the Fightin Texas Aggies play a football game. If I wanted to watch cheerleaders I would stay home and watch ESPN2 at 3am on a Tuesday night or something.

The fear some of you guys have of being unique……."oh my God, TRADITION!!!! KILL IT WITH FIRE!!!!"

You know, they aren't playing the whole time you're there right? Yell leaders don't have much time to lead any yells now that everything is jumbotron ads/stories and music. Why not watch girls jump around and fly through the air instead?

The good news is we're going to be a Coke school again once we get cheerleaders, cause AI says so.
