To be honest neither team looks that good. And the ref hasn't been impressive to me either.

Take the whole team to a basketball court and show them goals can be scored from rebounds.

Good thing this wasn't a must win since Arky already won because that was a poor performance especially offensively. And G's substitutions make no sense whatsoever. Complete crap shoot how this team will perform next week.
The announcers aren't even at the field?? Is this 2020??!?

Team seemed to be playing slower than usual tonight. Good news the Aggies do not have to play Sunday in the SEC Tournament.

Is this confirmed? I didn't really pay attention to the tiebreakers given so many potential outcomes today.
The way I read the tiebreakers we are the 7 seed and do play on Sunday against the 10 seed (which will be either LSU or Vanderbilt). I'm looking at the standings posted here on this board which may or may not be correct though.
All good. The standings posted here on another thread had originally flipped the result of the Ole Miss - Kentucky game and have now corrected it. The Aggies are confirmed with the 6 seed and a 1st round bye.
We open with 3 seed South Carolina on Tuesday.

Did what we had to do to get the bye. A&M's postseason comes down to finishing its chances in front of goal because we had 5-6 really good looks tonight that should have scored. Probably need to win the first game of the tourney to be assured an NCAA bid. At least we probably ended LSU's season. A&M takes on South Carolina on Tuesday.

Just when I thought they were going to do something after Tenn, it's Another 90 minutes of nothing by Coach G and Aggie soccer. Frustrating and disappointing.
8:26a, 10/27/23
Coach G has a Canadian obsession- his Williams, Pante and Wilkinson starting lineup and getting the majority of the run is just a big bag of nothing
The offense works when Beccerra, Boeckman and Hayes are out there together and need to play 80 minutes. Colvin, Smith, McDonald, Wilkinson are the pieces you work and sub round them- (edit I would play Pante the whole game)
Even the guy calling the game from his toilet picked up on it

This. For the life of me, I cannot understand why this team doesn't crash the goal every time there's a chance for a shot or cross. They (other than Hayes, at times) seem to typically just stop at the top of the box and watch.Jimma said:
