Whaaaaa
I don't believe you. I guarantee there are plenty El Tri fans there doing it, but you seem pretty confident these are all American imposters.

No. He's saying these are El Tri Americans. They're not mutually exclusive.Pahdz said:

No. They are el tri fans that are Americans.
I guarantee there are less than 2000 fans that came from Mexico for this game.

So what are we arguing? Are you saying that fans IN Mexico have cleaned up their act?

Reading this again and your lack of comprehension cracks me up.

Disagree with Marsch about Gio. Gio playing deeper hells him fulfilling his defensive responsibilities

No. I'm saying that some Mexican fans are pissed that Americans that root for their team are hurting their team. And they don't like that yell. At least 2 people I know.

If Mexico was magically no more, what would we really lose?
Every one of these games they show themselves as trash. Sometimes it's the players, most of the time it's their "fans".

You keep saying "Americans" but we're talking about Mexico fans, most likely of Mexican descent and maybe even still legally Mexican citizens, doing this chanting.
Maybe your buds in Mexico should focus on cleaning their own house and getting the word out this potentially hurts their team.
Yeah sorry I misunderstood you at first, I thought you were suggesting USMNT fans were sabotaging El Tri lol

Couple of actual soccer points…
Maybe the best game I've seen Tim Reem play for the US.
Rest was hell bent on showing he wants to be here, which is great for the future.
Pulisic seems to have plateaued. Mckinnie too.
Reyna is a difference maker, the fact that he's not playing for his club is crazy. I don't care if he's showing up to practice drunk with a joint in his hand, he should be playing.
Jedi is just so solid, him and Tim cleaning up back there is a great duo.
How awesome was the yellow for simulation? So on brand.
And yeah, we all hate Gregg, but he at least keeping beating Mexico.

Marsch said it best just a bit ago that the talent disparity is pretty large at the moment.

It's so funny you say that because I had the exact same thought gojng in. If Mexico ever bunkered against us and basically admitted we were the better team, their coach would be fired before he got out of the stadium. Wayyy too much pride there.

They may be Mexican fans, but 90% of the people there tomight rooting for Mexico are Americans. They may be of Mexican descent, but they are Americans.

They had a graphic on Univision with the recent US-Mexico results and the caption basically read "Is Mexico really the US's daddy?"

Way off topic here but the cameras keep showing her, and I've never seen her before… Gio's mom looks like a giant B.
Her reaction after his goal was genuinely disgusting and epitomizes everything that's wrong with sports.

Common sense. Not a flex.
But common sense is not common these days.

I think you do underestimate the number of El Tri fans who'd travel from Mexico. It's not like it's crossing oceans to get to DFW.

Maybe.
All of the mexican fans I spoke to on Thursday were from Dallas.
I was in a sports bar in Mexico last summer and everyone was rooting for Mexico but me. And they all were either from California or Texas.
Either way, who cares what I think?
