Looks like he is on the books for $12.5M this year, so he will probably manage

But yeah, Oakland is kind of an mlb wasteland for now, at least until they move and the owners are more motivated. Pretty decent odds Oakland trades him at some point during the season for prospects.

He'll get to be a regular starter in Oakland and stop being a swing starter.

If he performs well, he will be traded to a contender I am sure. Unrestricted FA next season.
