Whoever planned this is incompetent. I got stuck in 1.5 hrs of traffic to go two miles a few weeks back.

The thing is the traffics was horrible before they started construction. Their probably 10 years behind needed to do it, but t least it's getting done.

I believe they are making it 10 lanes from I10 to I35. It's a dangerous mess for sure!

Nobody likes construction, but the 1604 project, IMHO, is going very quickly. We live in Helotes, and the progress they've made is remarkable. Should it have happened over 10 years ago? Well, yeah, but it's going to be transformative when completed.

People working on that project have started their career working on it and retired while still working on it.
