Half American, half Mexican. Just like you, right Charpie?

EDIT: Apparently "mess i can" is a no-no word.

Is this where I can brag that my American IPA snagged a Silver Medal this past weekend at the Louisiana Beer Fest Cajun Classic homebrew contest?

for the next couple months, i'm all about the Oktoberfests. Go to's are of course the Paulaner and Spaten, but I really like that a lot of local and microbrews are making their own renditions. By far my favorite style of beer and one of the reasons I look forward to the fall.

Charpie, come to OBannon's with us at some point in November or December, I'm sure we could find one you might like. I would argue they ARE a developed taste, though, most people think they taste like cold stale burnt coffee.

I've got 3 from 2009 along with a Black Butte XX, XXI and 4 Jubel 2010. Also have a Mirror Mirror from a few years ago. Just had The Stoic, their quad Belgian. Not a big Belgian fan, but it was very good for the style.

I'm drinking a lot of Widmer on a regular basis, Drifter, the different Rotator IPAs and others. But, really looking forward to the winter beers. Jubelale just got released and should hit stores soon.

The guy at Sepcs today basically told me it would be near impossible to find anymore.

I missed it when they had a keg at the Saucer a couple weeeks ago too.
