Yep. A hurricane came to Cancun in 2022 in May when I was there...

Even today.
Move the tournament to a better place.
1. Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas, with its retractable roof
2. Minute Maid Park in Houston, Texas, with its retractable roof
3. lonaDepot Park in Miami, Florida, with its fixed-dome roof
Florida is almost a worse choice than Bama because the weather at Hoover is usually linked to Atlantic weather events. Hurricane seasons is typically understood as starting June 1, but if mother nature wants to start a week early, who is gonna stop her?

As someone who lives in DFW, I would love moving it to Globe Life! We saw the Ags there for the series earlier this season and it was a cool place. I don't really care about turf vs grass.

Now that OU is in the league, let's just play it at Bricktown. Best setting for a baseball tournament, ever.

Moving from Hoover received a little traction a couple of years ago. Hoover basically pays the SEC to play there so there is a financial aspect to it. Also the location close to Birmingham and a lot of SEC schools also makes it attractive. And Hoover has a large RV area which a lot of attendees use.
I doubt if it ever moves.

OKC is a near-perfect baseball tourney setting. So much fun.
Agreed. This is the ONLY thing I miss about the Big 12. Lots of great memories attending the Big 12 Baseball Tournament in OKC.
