I turned on the horns/frog game briefly Saturday for some background noise. It was both comical and nauseating hearing the commentator talk about the depth of the Big XII.

Bama's earlier ranking was probably an overreaction to beating Arkansas. They usually are accused of moving too slowly rather than too fast.hunter2012 said:

They're ranked 23 by D1 and their RPI is 20, seems fair enough to me

Also, you have a team that is 7-11 (in conference) in the Top 25. They have to claw UP to make it to .500. Calling them Top 20 is a stretch.
If Ark and Tamu played Bama at a neutral location, what do you do you really expect Bama to go 3-3?
