Friday night in Mid-May, Ags are three games up on the West with lowly Texas coming into Olsen. There's a charge in the air. The first, second and third base umps have taken their positions and the Ags are on the field, but home plate ump is nowhere to be found.

Then, like a WWE villain, a cloud of smoke arises from the visiting bullpen. By gawd...that's Dave Yeast's music.

It's been close to 20 years and I still get angry about that weekend with the yeast infection. You can't find them anymore, but at the time there was an article with an interview with him where he blatantly admitted he'd make bad calls to take the crowd out of the game.
