176 unacceptable runs, why wasn't Asch in?

From the looks of it, we were VERY fortunate this season to avoid Tennessee and Kentucky which both look just as good as we do.

Or were they fortunate to avoid us?

Exactly, Tennessee avoided playing us and Arkansas and they are probably thinking the same thing

You mean the Kentucky that SC went in dry on this weekend?

and on that note...

in his 3 seasons at A&M, Schloss has won 20 of 27 SEC series

8-2 in 2022
6-4 in 2023
6-1 in 2024 so far

that's pretty special
That is phenomenal!

You clearly don't understand how things work around here. You need to learn that Evan pitches too much and is frequently wasted, get with the program.

I can tell you yesterday that id rather have split up how we scored the 23 runs a little differently.

For those keeping track, we've hit 99 HR through 44 games.

That record breaking team in '99, coincidentally my all time favorite team as I took a complete no-stress victory lap in CS for one more year, had only hit 73 through the same number of games.

We are looking really good right now in all respects. On the field. In the W/L column. In terms of the HR record book. And maybe just maybe giving me a new all-time favorite team.

Posting this here since I remember someone / somewhere this weekend saying Bmont was a little off... he was absolutely blistering the ball.

It wasn't me that said that but to be honest he WAS off by the extra high bar by which I measure B-Mont. A little more swing and miss than we're used to from him.

Game one is making me wonder, what's the biggest comeback in Aggie history? I think maybe in the 90s the Aggies came back from ten runs down against Rice. Is that right? Was that the record?

Yeah I can see that and can agree. My point was even his outs were very well-struck. Sometimes it finds a hole, sometimes it don't. Baseball be like that.

1998 the Ags came back from a nine run deficit against Rice to win 10-9. Can't remember how many innings it took for the Owls to build up their lead or exactly when the Ags started their comeback but the winning run was scored in B8 with two outs when Jason Tyner scored from second on a wild pitch third strike. He kept running around third while the owl catcher made a throw to first in an ill-conceived attempt to get the batter out at first. A very brief clip of that play is at the 2:53 mark of this video.

it was also 9-0 in a Tuesday game in 1998. We won 10-9.

It's the easiest place to get sent to banned camp these days. I try to avoid it after the last power hungry mod went on their tirade.
