The USCe and UGa starters each went 1/3 of an inning!??

Since this game is a snoozer... really cool thread of ridiculous college baseball outfields. Some additional good stuff in the comments as well.

Chicken coach going at it with the UGA catcher. You don't see that very often. I really do not care for UGA. At all.

Might as well, no warnings were given.dabo man said:
What are the chances a UGA batter is HBP here in the top of the 8th?

Not exactly heads up baserunning there for the 3rd out.
EDIT - Irrelevant, as he was ruled to have been forced out.

Mracna's 3rd HPB in 2 innings. Still not tossed even though benches were warned long ago...
10:35p, 5/9/24
Another HBP...
On the other hand, it wasn't really that far inside. Batter did a good job of moving his body, but not his arm, out of the way.

Wacha labored in the bottom of the 7th. Didn't get an out. He is pulled from the game ahead 9-2 but the bases are loaded.
EDIT - Wacha's line is closed. He gave up 3 runs on 3 hits. 9-3 KC in the top of 8.

Not a HBP, but a 3-2 behind the SC batter... 2 on and 2 outs for SC. 6 walks and 6 HBP by UGA.

Georgia is 36-12 and RPI #4
only their conference record (14-11) is keeping the Dawgs from a top 8 seed
the Ags' series win over UGA looks really good

there was one game in the Big 12 tonight...
Cincinnati beat BYU to improve to 14-11 in the league
D1 keeps putting TCU (13-14) and UCF (11-12) in their projected field of 64...
but thanks to Cincinnati and Kansas (13-11), the Frogs and Knights are going to finish in 7th / 8th / 9th place in the standings
seems too low for an at-large bid regardless of RPI

You would think so ….. but I am sure the committee will put them ( TCU ) as a #3 in College Station Regional to add some drama.

Good for him. I was looking at his stats yesterday and they hadn't been too good so far. He and Strip have struggled this season.

Wacha hasn't actually been that bad. He had a rough outing vs Texas, another mediocre start and other than that he's been pretty decent. He's been a bad luck loser in a couple where the Royals just didn't score for him. Not he l saying he's been dealing, but all you could hope from a #4 starter.KC Aggie said:

I heard opening day that the Royals had 19 new players on the roster. They literally went out and bought a team this offseason... and so far, it's worked.
