The Republican House is an effing clown show.

Yall know this.
I wouldn't call it a Republican house, there are many controlled by the other side, these people need to be voted out, they are in their to stall the party and that's exactly what you see happening…they might as well caucus with the Dems ..

**** like this only serves to push away potential voters. Dems are pushing open borders and child mutilation, while the GOP clowns are running a circus. Who are the sane voters supposed to vote for?

Well any "sane voter" would easily see which party was more palatable. MTG is annoying.. but MJ has also royally sucked as the speaker. Oh well.

Trump controls Johnson. He's the "other side"?

You can't achieve anything with such a small majority when a few people within your party vote against any bill that doesn't give them absolutely everything that they want.

When legislators don't want to negotiate to take small wins where they can given the tiny majority and instead take an all or nothing approach then nothing tends to happen.

And the reason the GOP even has a majority at all is the moderates that people love to hate here. The New York and California GOP saved an otherwise completely embarrassing 2022 House election by ignoring Trump and running local campaigns based on local values with good local ground games.
So Rs with a tiny majority can't get everything they want, yet somehow Dems with a minority are able to. Makes sense.
So, I take it you didn't know the Democrats also control the Senate and Presidency?

That has nothing to do with it. If the Rs win the Senate and WH and keep the House, the Dems will still get what they want because the Rs are not willing to shut down the government.

The Dems are in control of the purse strings from now on regardless of who has the majority. The only thing that matters anymore is the Senate and the WH because of judicial appts and regulations/executive orders.

The Rs have pushed and had the government shut down several times. Each time, it politically hurt the Republicans and bolstered the Democrats.

Why are you so determined to make the Democrats' political power stronger?

Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.
