2025 Cy-Fair defensive lineman Landon Rink commits to Texas A&M
Mike Elko has secured a verbal commitment from one of the top defenders in the Lone Star State as Cy-Fair DL Landon Rink has announced his intentions to continue his athletic and academic career in Aggieland.
This signifies a massive recruiting win for Elko as well as defensive line coaches Sean Spencer and Tony Jerod-Eddie.
Overall, Rink is the fifth addition to the 2025 recruiting haul, and he chooses Texas A&M over Oklahoma, Ohio State, LSU and plenty of others.
The 6-foot-2, 280-pounder is a walking TFL. Rink wreaks havoc on opposing offensive fronts with his quickness, power and punch. He also plays with an elite motor as well as outstanding leverage and technique for a prep defensive lineman. He just forklifts people. Rink’s evasiveness and play strength also means he’s versatile enough to line up anywhere along the front, but he’ll likely figure into the interior rotation.
You can view Rink’s tape below.
Stay tuned. More to come for our TexAgs Premium subscribers.
Comes from a great family and is a defensive coaches son. His football & defense IQ is going to be an asset.
