Drives me crazy that VAR isn't used in GK/Corner decisions… it's already a stoppage in play, it's an easy thing for Refs/ARs to miss - especially when it's on the other side of the goal from the AR, and it either sets up or denies a scoring opportunity … so it's kind of a big deal to get right.
And yeah, I'm angry because my team got scored on in a corner that the other team shouldn't have had, and the mistake was made obvious by the fantastic modern TV production crews we have.

So Xavi says he's going to quit. Team starts playing well. The club convinces him to stay. Now Laporta wants to fire him. Barca are a mess.

I feel like they only have the match official take a look when they blew it. I can't remember the last time i saw them go to the screen and stick with the call. They should either be looking at more calls (and some stand) or get rid of having the guy go to the screen entirely. If it always means it is getting overturned, it's just a waste of time to show him.
Today the Tottenham - Sheffield United official was called to the screen about a possible red, but didn't give it - though he did show it to the player as an apparent warning, which I've never seen before.

Pitch invasion for City? This would be like rushing the court when MJ won his sixth title.

Well… that's pretty bizarre. "I'm not giving you a red, but come look at this and see how I should be giving you a red." Has to be a last day oddity.
🗣️ Pep Guardiola hints he may leave #MCFC after next season. “The reality is I’m closer to leaving than staying. We have talked with the club and my feeling is that I want to stay now. Come on pep. Try a real challenge, not all this having the most money and best players business. You're probably just like coach pop. Awesome when you have the GOATs as players. Suck when you dont.
Simply lovely.
I'm not imaginative to speculate as to what Russian stuff they're trying to investigate or why they needed to run Chelsea to do it - but I do like to imagine that as a side-gig, they're trying real hard to slowly burn the club to the ground so there's nothing for Roman to return to if in the future courts determine that the confiscation was illegal.
What a catastrophically stupid club and stupid owner.

That should be enough time for Alonso to perfect his craft Then head on over.
I don't know what the problem is. I like the new guy over the old guy.Dre_00 said:
Dare I say that Boehly is doing for American owners what...the Glazers did for American owners. You didn't fire him in December when you were 12th but you did fire him in May when you finished 6th and he ended the season 5 points out of a Champions League spot. In his first season.
What a catastrophically stupid club and stupid owner.
