Does anyone know why he left Tarleton for UTSA? I saw where they extended BCG but also remember them discussing him as the heir apparent.

I'd imagine the difference in resources and opportunities between the WAC and the American as far as conference affiliation is a pretty big draw. I hope he can find continued success with the Roadrunners

The guy UTSA hired came from Bama, that Nate Oats tree will become very attractive. Good move for Joe.

Yeah, good step for him to get out from under BCG. It's one thing to be an assistant under a coach you played for, but if you really have coaching career aspirations you gotta spread out and learn from a lot of different people.
