Just tested positive today, symptom onset was yesterday.

Body aches, low grade fever, and sore throat. Still have smell and taste.

Wife had it last week for 3rd time. Almost no symptoms. Got it at trade show from boss. Was a little tired but just got home from 2 weeks of trade shows. Who wouldn't be tired? I MIGHT have had it but my symptoms started just before she got home. Could have been a small cold too. I've also been training very hard and had a peak week the week before which can lower one's immune system. She tested, I never did. Only had congestion and cough at night. Nyquil and all was good. Would have been my 3rd time too.

Honestly, handled it in our house like any small cold. No distance or quarantining. It's now just another illness.

So that makes sense why you got it a 3rd time. You got 3 different variants.

That sucks.

There's 2 other guys that work with me that have it as well. We were at OTC all last week, so I kinda expected to catch something flu-ish.

No doubt, but I'm the first I've known to have gotten it a 3rd time

Just curious, do you find yourself more likely to get the flu or colds than other people you know? As far as I know, I still have not gotten Covid, but generally I also avoid the flu and don't get sick very often.

I am just curious if there are people just more genetically or physically likely to contract viruses.

My best friend has been around COVID a lot. So has his family. They have not gotten the virus.

I've had it 3 times. 1st in Dec 2020, 2nd in Dec 2021, 3rd in mid-April 2022. Only reason I even tested was the wife. She had a really important week at work that week so she didn't care if it was a cold or covid, she could not get sick that week, so she made me test just to see if she needed to stay away from me, and as we assumed, it was positive. Typical cold & flu symptoms, low fever first day, then just congestion, cough, and some fatigue for a couple days. Took some over the counters like I always do when I get sick and felt fine after a couple days.

Only upside to testing was company policy. If you test positive, you are work from home for 2 weeks. I kind of enjoyed working from home again.

Don't test then you won't have Covid.

This is the way.

Not sure you guys are getting this at all let alone multiple times. As far as I know I have never had it and never quarantined and rarely ever wore a mask.

I'm in the same boat. Even tried to get it from my wife when she had it. Participated in the Texas cares study so has 3 blood tests that show no natural antibodies and only had vaccinated antibodies on the last test
