A thought just occurred to me that plausibly the penultimate legal issue posed by Biden's treason/dementia might be that he lacks the mens rea to issue a pardon for himself/family members on his last day in office. I wonder if concern to such a legal challenge will be the real final push to have him exit stage 'go to hell.'

How can the DOJ insinuate that he's incompetent and lacks requisite mens rea but at the same time has the mental capacity to issue executive orders and sign off on agreements with foreign countries.
