Not DFW but someone at my son's baseball game told me they reported softball sized hail in Abilene. Curious if that's true. I was born/raised there.

Radar indicated. Biggest I saw spotter or law enforcement confirmed was tennis ball. Still plenty big to wreck everything.

Can't really say he's chasing right now. Stuck on the highway behind a bunch of people parked under an overpass due to hail.

Raining pretty dang hard here in FloMo but no hail yet… let's hope it stays that way

No hail seen around Euless/Grapevine area. Not even big wind gusts just some heavy rain

Think on the tail end already. Rained good with a little wind for about ten minutes and has been dropping off at a consistent rate for the last ten. Sky yelled a few times. That's about it. Pretty low key here

Got some of the big stuff out West of town earlier. Sounded like bowling balls hitting the roof. These suckers were egg to baseball sized.

Had a lot of that in Northlake last night. Hail that size came down for minutes. Amazingly, my cars, which were all outside, seem to be mostly ok. I'm sure the roof is jacked.

Same area but other side of airport. Nothing in terms of that stuff. I'm not even sure we got much rain. Maybe a quarter to a half inch at most.

Anyone think the eastern edge of the elevated risk is going to hit the Metroplex this evening? Looks like they are calling for another round of large hail and winds.

We can hear tornado sirens going off across the lake in the direction of Rowlett/Mesquite from Rockwall.
8:50p, 4/8/24
Sachse sirens definitely went off. Short burst of big hail, but not baseball size or anything.

Throttled with that 2am line of storms. Big wind. Small hail (thank god). Heavy wind whipped rain.
Rain gauge near us shows just over 2" from last night to this AM. I feel like it's short. Looked to be probably 2.5 to 3 all said and done.
