Curious, how much did that run? Only been there once, seems I remember it being really expensive.

The final bill was pricey, but it was 5 beers, my old lady had a cocktail, appetizer & 2 entrees.

I think the beers were mostly $5 each or thereabouts

This Shiner 103 is actually pretty tasty

You quit drinking? That's the dumbest gawddamn thing I've ever heard. (29 days down, 2 to go for my dumb ass)

Has anyone seen Dogfish Head 120 at Whole Foods in Sugar Land? The website says they have it there, I assume by the growler.

It listed there, Alamo Drafthouse in Katy, and the Flying Saucer in Sugar Land (didn't even know one existed down there).

yeh when we went to BRC, we got basically same thing as what i mentioned at luckys pub, 4 drinks a pop and two meals.. seems after tip it was pushing $90+ at brc. maybe i'm a cheapo, but $45 is a lot for 4 beers and a hamburger/sandwich. Flying saucer is easily cheaper than that IIRC.

yeah we dont do it every week, the poutine confit was NAILS though.

BRC has much better food than either of those places in my opinion. I'm pretty sure I could survive on nothing more than their bacon jam.

Agreed. BRC food coupled with its beer selection is hard to beat.

They do have other unique and good foods.. but seems like I just got a hamburger.. was like $12 IIRC. Probably was good, but not that good. I can get a rockwell burger for $8 and it's damn good.

I'd be lying if I said I had any interest in it, but for the BMC drinkers, apparently this is out now...

Hah. High alcohol bud light. Well that made me chuckle. I already know from the numbers, but it's apparent that they KNOW they are hurting and have got to find something to get their sales to increase. Bud light wheat, now this..

Industry observer Beer Marketer’s Insights reported in December that U.S. beer shipments for 2011 were expected to decline by 3 million barrels, despite continued rapid growth among the smaller craft breweries.

Actually had BL Platinum this weekend at a buddies house in Austin. Can confirm it tastes like crap. Luckily he had a Sam Adams winter mix pack so we had some good beer. Actually really enjoyed all the brews in there.

where does one sign up for a beer of the month club?

I don't think you get to drink at all.

sweet, thanks. what's the S&H cost on these? 22 a month is pricey but that sounds reasonable for a good monthly variety, hopefully S&H isn't a bunch.

$11 a six pack isn't pricey at all, IMO. grocery store/specs is $8-$12 a sixxer for decent beer, so that's pretty much right in that range. If you do the make your own from HEB, it's $2-$3 a beer.

Of course shipping/handling could really screw that up.

here you go

Hey it looks like they accidentally put a shiner cheer in your bag after you paid.

Thanks for the help, never tried to post from my phone before.

And figured someone would say something about that! Wife likes them so figured I'd get one for her, and honestly I really don't mind the Cheer. Not great but not horrible.

Looking forward to the Deschutes. Actually haven't had any of them yet but heard nothing but good about them.

I missed Jubelale this year. Sold out everywhere I went. Deschutes and Widmer are high on my list
