According to his office, the incident happened Friday night while Garcia and his wife attended an event. There was no damage to his home and no reported injuries.

HCSO said after the shooting, they assigned a deputy to monitor Garcia's street for 12 hours and then decided to step up patrols in the neighborhood due to the "threat of political violence."

On Monday, KPRC 2 Investigates captured video of a Harris County Sheriff's Office vehicle parked yards away from Garcia's home. Minutes later, that vehicle was replaced by an HCSO SUV.

Although there has been an increase in patrols surrounding Garcia's home, his office says they don't believe the commissioner, his family, or neighbors were being targeted, but believe the gunshots were "celebratory gunfire."
Where does he live for this to be unusual? Hear that **** almost every Weekend if I'm outside at the right time of night. Or inside if it's close enough.

But Adrian's "tired of it," so he's gonna test a program.

I'm tired of it. This is why I have funded a pilot project on testing gunshot detection technology as an effort to prevent these dangerous acts from taking place in the east Aldine area.

They use these things all over Chicago. He doesn't need a pilot program when there is a ton of data out there. He is almost certainly just getting kickbacks from the contract.

Of course, when it's one "more equal" people, he immediately gets more patrols.

Adrian is behind the curve. The system has already been tested, installed, used, and been deemed racist in other cities because it leads to a certain demographic getting stopped after it catches them popping off rounds.

Breaking Bond: Woman and man operating unlicensed funeral business free from jail; Sparks public outcry
Quote:

Major has a lengthy criminal history and a track record for skipping out on bond. "Everytime he was charged and out on bond he forfeited the bond every single one," said Andy Kahan with Crime Stoppers "He had 7 bond forfeitures."

Yet, 262nd Criminal District Court Judge Lori Chambers Gray set Major's bond at just 10 grand. "This is very concerning," White said.

Why even bother setting bonds when the county doesn't collect them when they are violated. Even setting them is just a free handout to the bonding companies when there is no risk to them that they will ever have to pay a forfeited bond.

If you don't want people taking the law into their own hands then go ahead and enforce the law and punish people who break them appropriately. Easy math. If the city won't enforce the laws, eventually the citizens will.

I'm shocked that this group wasn't busily working at their normal day jobs. Or building a Habitat house.

Jugging? More like thugging.

Knocking down an 82 year-old man end his life, even if not right away. A broken hip can lead to decline at that age.

Hope they get all their legal proceedings handled in Brazoria County on this one.
