We're gonna have to win all 8, aren't we?

Yes. Every weekend is going to be "Sure would be nice if Arsenal & City drop points" , they won't and it's going to come down to the end.

Or City go on a run and Arsenal and Liverpool drop points over the next few weeks and it's all wrapped up with two weeks to go.

I really don't see anyone left who will beat City. Brighton, Chelsea, West Ham, Spurs? They all turn into pumpkins against them on the regular. And especially now that KDB is back in form.

And Arsenal? I expect United to look like dog**** and get beat by four versus them in a month.

Sucks, but I think we really did have to be perfect for the whole run in to hold onto the title.

Spurs always play City well. It's Arsenal that needs to drop points. They do very little rotation. Any injury to their starting XI and the cracks might start to show

Yeah, that's true. Spurs are the best chance left to take points from either City or Arsenal I guess.

Lots of rumors that Ruben Amorim from Sporting CP will be the new manager. He has been there since 2020 and ended their league championship drought. Won the league in his first year and is on his way to winning it this year. Pretty decent results in Europe too.

Dont know much about him tactically or stylistically, but he seems to be well thought of.

Sounds like we all need to watch some Sporting Lisbon games!

I like the idea of De Zerbi (grew up playing for a Brazilian head coach that was possession oriented) or Amorim (seemingly more in line with Klopp's style).

I'm sad about Klopp leaving but quite excited to see who's next

Ruben Amorim denied any link with Liverpool and angrily said there was no contact. Hopefully it's just posturing for the cameras.

Jota, TAA, and Alisson have returned to training this week. Klop says they will see how they integrate them back in, perhaps today even.

Hell yeah, I love bringing Jota in late when we need a goal, dude is nails. And TAA is Liverpool. Alisson's return is a bit anti-climatic with the way Kelleher has been playing tho.

Jota, Bajcetic, and TAA all make the bench. Elliott with the much deserved start.

*Jota to everyone in training this week: "If you shoot the ball at the goal frame where the goalkeeper is not, you're more likely to score. Like this, watch me" Banger in the top corner

Elliott has been free down that right wing at least three times and Gakpo just cannot make that pass

Wow....this is really shocking. Last 2 matches have the season slipping away all of a sudden. Lack of clinical finishing, defensive lapses finally too much? Got to regroup fast.

1st and 3rd goals should've been saved by Kelleher.

Wasteful in front of goal. They weren't. Kelleher should have saved at least 1, maybe 2. Gakpo can't make a pass that's more than 10 yards. Jota got some minutes. But Atalanta played well. De Ketelaere and Koopmeiners played really well. Nuñez missed his usual. Elliott played decently. Had a curling shot that hit the crossbar and the post. Salah had a goal (correctly) ruled for offside

My goodness....our defense is a sieve. If not for a miracle Robbo hustle and save it would be 2-0 CP just 18 minutes in.

Announcer said 18th PL game this season we have conceded first
