I broke down and got Bally's, which I think still works for the Mavs and Stars. Tempted to play the VPN game just cause screw Bally's, but I'm not spiteful enough to pay for the NBA League Pass and whatever the NHL equivalent is.

I thought this was sarcasm/a joke. But then I remembered Kidd is our coach, and I just got sad. It's so difficult to overcome dumbass coaching decisions.

Lol DJJ started the Pistons game last Friday, so it was definitely never a joke. But I think it makes sense. I feel like starting DJJ and bringing Green first off the bench maximizes both players' strengths. We saw how Green played when sharing the court with Luka & Kyrie vs when he played without 1 or both. He's a better player when the ball is in his hands and that's simply not possible with Luka and Kyrie. Bring him off the bench for whoever gets subbed out first and I think it makes alot of sense.

And then conversely, DJJ is an athletic switchable wing that doesn't need the ball at all and will be maximized with an elite PnR ballhandler like Luka on the court.

Plus, who starts isn't nearly as important as who closes. Our clutch time offense AND defense were atrocious last year, and if staggering Luka, Kyrie, and Green keeps them fresh for the final 5 minutes, then I think that's a good bonus. As long as green is getting 30min/gm, I don't really care if he starts or not.

Glad that Luka can play. Maxi in the starting lineup is strange, but I guess he will be the Wemby stopper like he is the Zion stopper.

One thing I don't miss about the NBA is the fact that 6:30 start time means 6:55 start time if you are a national game… such a beating.

He was hustling! Pushed the pace on offense and was actively fighting over screens on D.

Like how Luka seems to be pushing the pace more this season.

Hate playing 4 on 5 on offense when Derrick Jones is in the game. He should be an end of bench guy.

Also hate how we are playing Dante Exum over Jaden hardy. Exum hasn't been bad but we need to let hardy play big minutes to see what we have. His ceiling is much higher.

Love how Tim can't miss.
