I'll be adopting the Rakuten Eagles as my NPB team personally, having loved Sendai the most on this trip.
By the time I land back in H-Town, I hope I see a Stros series win on the scoreboard.

Hopefully cash considerations can give us a few quality starts.
We picked him up on a waiver claim from the reds last year and I think we DFA'd him 3 times since then. We won the waiver claim
Will def be sporting Stro's gear

Lived a baseball dream last night by attending a game in the Tokyo Dome. The home Yomiuri Giants (the Yankees of NPB more or less, it seems) won a 2-1 game against the defending champion Hanshin Tigers on a walk-off in the 10th. Fans were incredible, the atmosphere really puts American games to shame.

Rally baby falls to 5-2. Need a bounce back today
Can't win them all. That is a 116 win pace. Keep it up, rally baby!

I will say it is zero coincidence that last night she was the fussiest that she's ever been. Also this may sound like a joke but I promise it 100% happened… when Altuve struck out in the 9th on those horrible outside pitches… baby let one rip so loud it shook the bed. Had to immediately change the diaper.
It was also around the time the Aggies stranded the bases loaded

We watched Empire Strikes Back last night. Still the GOAT Star Wars movie. 2nd for me is a tie between the original and (hot take) Revenge of the Sith

This whole group gives me a lot of confidence since spaghettis last start
Grae Kessinger (shoulder) started a rehab assignment at Triple-A Sugar Land today.

José Urquidy was scheduled to throw a live BP today but it was pushed back to Tuesday. Cristian Javier came out of his rehab start feeling well and the Astros’ hope is he can rejoin them on the road trip, Joe Espada said.

Pena's last home run in the United States was April 3rd
and if Pena is becoming the everyday 5-hole hitter...he needs to hit 20+ homers

Todays headline on least exciting news I've read this week
But I agree he should be first man down when Javier comes back. Or send down a reliever and make hunter the 6inning guy or allow to be long relief option
We have bigger problems than that when the guy batting cleanup today is hitting .200 with a .555 OPSW said:

Astros pitching prospect Colton Gordon, who's been out with a lat strain, will make his 2024 debut while getting the start from Triple-A Sugar Land today at El Paso.
