Oh yeah you're right. Simonds was the one I was supposed to go to. Only missed 2 home games that season since I was a student and that was one of them

I was there with my stepdad who is a rangers fan. He still brings it up as something he's mad about to this day. We were so bad that year that pretty much the entire ballpark was rooting for it just to see history. Also the rivalry wasn't really real at that point since it was just interleague and we were never both good at the same time.
