For the longest time (years) I wore FJ WeatherSoft gloves because they were cheap and seemed to last a long time. I wore them up to the point until I bought a FJ StaSoft as an impulse buy in the pro shop.
For those that haven't tried a StaSoft, its a Cabretta glove and its much softer with much better feel (subjective) than the synthetic FJ WeatherSoft gloves. The downside is that they are $20 a pop.
So, I did some research on Cabretta gloves and I came across several really good reviews of a company (MG Golf) here in DFW that sells Cabretta gloves. So, I decided to buy a few gloves.
After hitting ~300 range balls yesterday I can report back that they are as good in quality and feel as the FJ StaSoft glove.
Here's the kicker. They cost ~$12 in a buy-one/get-one free model. So, ~$6 per glove.
It's a no-brainer for me. I'll be buying more.
Here's the link if any of you want to check them out:
www.mggolf.com
Lastly, in no way am I affiliated with this company. Just trying to pass along a good deal.
