This is what I hope. Also, sometimes these things drop with the fall releases. That happened with the white and maroon block T cap Maroon U has up on their site. It's essentially the same hat but with the 1951 style block T and I first saw it in late July this past summer. It even said baseball on the price tag. So it surprised me to see it that late from baseball season. More came in to both Maroon U and AO by football season. So it's always possible we see it then.

In baseball, you wear white at home and gray on the road. It's just tradition. I was pissed last week when Vandy was wearing home while they were visitors. The reason our gray uniforms have worse records is because they're worn for road games, not because they're inherently worse.

I would love to see us wear our creams more often. Schloss seems to be the kind to not wear white/off-white on the road, though. I like that.

So. Obviously what we need is a black top to wear on the road for sweeps. Or perhaps dig out last year's Corps jerseys.

One reason I like black is that it makes the maroon pop in my mind. I get a lot of black A&M apparel. It is my go to A&M shirt "color". I loved the black football uni from 2012.



This look for baseball is one of my favorites. Black uni with maroon cap.



But black on black is great too:



I don't know what it is but black and maroon just seem to go together.
