The Eeyore Couch! Where trouble exiles those of us who have a dour outlook on how slowly the final weeks until Fightin' Texas Aggie Baseball season starts are going by. I claim no science behind my perception that time is now creeping along nor have any data to back it up although many seem to agree with me on this. Maybe that is something Farsight can help us understand better.

This part of me briefly thought of starting to pull together the first "This Weekend in the SEC" Thread of the season but the Eeyore part of me talked some sense into the Tigger part of me and convinced it that was simply rushing things. On the other hand, the Tigger did peek at least a few of the schedules of our SEC brethren to see who they were playing opening weekend and snuck in several bags of peanuts when grocery shopping yesterday to have my snack stash ready for game watching.
