I can live with some at home. The ones at 3rd are brutal. You are in scoring position already

On KAGC FM 97.3 in BCS. Hill just hit a 3 run bomb and Aggies lead 6-1 in the bottom of the 4th.

Against Weber St., we had decently fast runners on 1st and 2nd and they get thrown out at home and third on a single to center. Two thrown out on the same play. At least we were efficient in that instance. 2 for 1 sale.
Weber was a weird game. I think some witchcraft was involved.

Need to work on base running. How many outs have we ran into during this tournament?

watched a replay of Cal. St. Fullerton, the bubbles were on! I want to know what the ejected CSF player said to the ump.
This team looks prepared for conference play. especially the pitching & the pitching coach.

This weekend the Aggies play the first of 8 conference series. First up is South Carolina, and I'm waiting for a meeting to start so I thought I'd throw out some comparative stats.
#22 (RPI #25) South Carolina 18-2
Team batting Average .286
OB% .403
HR 11
Walks 81
SO 87
Pitching ERA 1.61
Opponents batting average .168
SO 120
Walks 42
Fielding pct .973
#19 (RPI #26) Texas A&M 20-2
Team batting Average .352
OB % .446
HR 33
Walks 83
SO 53
Pitching ERA 1.56
Opponents batting average .200
SO 151
Walks 36
Fielding pct .975
Pitching wise the teams are fairly even. I think South Carolina is a little less dependent on one pitcher, whereas the Aggies lean pretty heavily on Kennedy. This is mostly due to Kennedy's dominance I'd imagine.
Offensively A&M is clearly a better team. Just glancing at South Carolina's schedule, they've only scored 10 runs or more once. They look to be a team that heavily relies on pitching and fielding to win games. While the Aggies haven't exactly played a great schedule, I'd argue South Carolina has played a worse one. Their two losses were to Wichita St and South Alabama.
Overall this should be a series in A&M's favor. Carolina isn't an offensive powerhouse, and while they do have excellent pitching, A&M is pretty evenly matched in that regard.

The Aggies take the opening game against South Carolina 3-0. It was tight with the Aggies first scoring in the bottom of the 5th.
Both pitchers went the distance, but it was Emiley Kennedy who got the shutout along with 10K's.
Big hits by Jazmine Hill and Kramer Eschete along with a key sac bunt by Trinity Cannon. We also got a run where Koko Wooley's speed forced South Carolina's defense to play faster than they wanted to.

That pitcher they have has talent. She doesn't throw a ton of strikeouts but the way she throws makes it tough to get really good contact and drive the ball. Ironically though, of our 5 hits, 4 were doubles.
Decent start to the series. I really want us to sweep this series for more than 1 reason.

For anyone who watched on tv or listened on the radio, was there any mention of why Harper wasn't with the team tonight? They announced her but she wasn't there
