But then again we have some guys who can hit it to the moon so who give a crap about the wind lol
I will say with the two teams approaches the wind blowing in favors them and their slap it around with 2 strikes strategy. I doubt we have a game where the team with less hits wins like we have had sometimes before bc the long ball scores multiple runs.Aggies1322 said:trouble said:
Gonna be chilly with the wind out of the north. Take a blanket.

Having his speed on base 40% of the time before the top of the order will be quite nice.

Speaking of shirts...
MSU's David "Goldilocks" Mershon sells shirts at the top of his Twitter page:
David Mershon @mershyyyyyy
The shirt says "MERSHONS ARE GOOD AT BASEBALL" - available in multiple colors
I hope the Raggies are hounding this dude.
He is asking for it like no other with the hair, the hoodie, thigh high socks, and 2 oven mitts in his pockets while playing defense.

I am surprised baseball didn't get pushed back to 7 or 7:30 with Aggie hoops starting at 5:50 tonight. Do they not have as much flexibility since it is a conference game? It's streaming only tonight, so tv isn't the reason.
I'll be watching both. Looking forward to it.

I think tonight will be really telling for us as to the future of Tanner Jones. I know the staff thinks highly of him but he's been anything but consistent and crisp yet this year. Hoping that's just recovery and rust from the injury. He's needs to go at least 4 quality innings tonight. Can't have a 40 pitch first where he walks 2 or 3. That quality RHP in the rotation that we can feel good about would be very nice.
Edit: more coffee before posting. Thanks for the correction.
Wait, Jones is pitching tonight instead of Prager?

I was assuming some of the people with tickets to baseball might want to watch at least the first half of basketball before baseball starts up. Once you get into the baseball game, you can only watch it on your phone.trouble said:

Miss State has the righty/lefty pitcher. Prager needs to figure that out in time for game 3 on Saturday

Neither sport gives two squats about the other, especially with basketball now being in the Tournament, so the schedule is what it is. Regular season conference games aren't going to be moved around to accommodate that same school's basketball team's schedule in March Madness. Enjoy them both. Basketball game should be over well before the baseball game, if that makes any difference.KT 90 said:
