I figure I had original COVID back in Feb 2021....then again (unbeknownst to me) in between December and March of '22. Does the above reflect another reinfection between March and July '22?

If so, I had no idea I had the scary Omicron!!!!!!!!
Yes I think you likely had an exposure between March and July just no infection.

3rd far was February as of then only had vaccine antibodies

Got text for 4th draw today

Tested positive for Covid yesterday

So how long should I wait to do the blood draw so that the infection antibodies show up?

I emailed Texas Cares and they said to wait 14 days before testing

JUST had my 4th draw. I had my second bout of COVID in June… and it was much worse than the first. The first time was allergy-like symptoms. The second was much more severe - I was laid up in bed for three days. I took Paxlovid. Curious to see changes in my test results.

Thanks for the info Doc. I am certain I have been exposed a million times.

Just got 4th test results back.
The entire family had covid in May 2021.
My two sons tested positive for covid again in mid-January 2022. No one else got it, as far as we know.
I had it again in June 2022; started Plaxlovid this time around on the third day of symptoms.

08/23/21: N protein 110, S protein 119
01/12/22: N protein 47.8, S protein 118 (before boys tested positive for covid)
04/04/22: N protein 29.5, S protein 130
07/21/22: N protein 38.2, S protein >2500

I finally went in to get my third draw. I guess I still have never had it even after being exposed to it 2 times in the family. I had the Moderna shot 2/15/21, 3/15/21, and booster on 11/25/21. I still need to get a second booster.

My draws:
9/16/21 Negative and 846
12/23/21 Negative and >2500
7/21/22 Negative and >2500

I'd wait until fall when they are supposed to release a booster that is effective against Omicron.

WHY? Won't even protect you from BA.5

Just catch it and get it over with.

I had a VERY mild case the first time around.

Maybe a dumb question, but I had my fourth blood draw yesterday, and got my results today. Positive for both vaccine and infection, which I knew because I did catch it in April (very mild). How do I get the neat graphs and numbers that everyone is posting? I can't figure out how to access that.

You need to set up an account on the CPL lab website. https://cpl.luminatehealth.com/ . You'll then be able to see your antibody levels and trends.

I do have an account. Nothing's showing up there. I figured out how to send them an email about it.

4th test. Had covid in Feb 2021. Can't be sure, but I don't think I've had a 2nd bout. If I did, I was either fully asymptomatic or very minor. 2 Pfizer spring of '21. No boosters

N - 96
S - 1705

I was crazy high all last year thru the first 3 tests (3rd test was 123 and 2085 in December), so it's coming down gradually but still dang high

Just did my 4th draw. I wouldn't have even done it had my wife not had it. She had an awful cough for almost a week.

I had felt "off" like a slight asthma flare up one evening right before, but no different than when allergies are hitting me, then I had slight chest congestion and runny nose for a few days, basically allergies. Results just came back and guess I had it.

My only grip on this survey.

I always have to skip the "why did you get the vaccine" question. All the answers provided are about safety of family, community or to get things back to normal… there isn't an option for I was forced to due to for work or because it was mandated by my employer. That's the only reason I got the damn shot, cuz I have a family to feed and wasn't given much of an option.

They could at least allow for "other" or something. I would be curious how many other folks would select that as opposed to what's provided.

4th draw completed yesterday. Still pretty happy with my values, but my N protein went from 47.4 to 12.3. My one dose of Moderna and the COVID infection from November '21 still has my S Proteins in pretty good shape!

4th blood draw yesterday, and looks like i'm building some new immunity

Moderna: Jan/Feb 2021

8/4/2021: N Protein-0, S-Protein 2247

11/8/2021: N Protein-0, S-Protein 1363

Moderna Booster: Dec 2021

2/15/2022: N Protein-0, S-Protein >2500

Confirmed infection 7/11/2022

7/25/2022: N Protein-1.5, S-Protein >2500

Finally got my results posted in my portal. I don't know how to read them, though. I did test positive at the end of April.

Attempting to post...

The question at this point is what that spike protein value is really worth given the virus spike protein has mutated significantly which is why the vaccine effectiveness has dropped massively

Question for the docs on the board: should the Total Antibody, N-Protein increase somewhat before decreasing? The reason I ask is that I first tested positive on June 9. I went in for my 4th blood draw on July 14 my Total Antibody, N-Protein was 6.5 and I've seen other posters on here with a much higher result.

Granted, I had a pretty light case: never lost taste or smell, just a runny nose with some fatigue for about 72 hours and a max temperature of 99.2 F.

Thanks for any thoughts y'all can share.

I was curious too and looked at their data dashboard. You can now look at the seroprevalence by week for their testing. So i went back through and plotted it. Here is what that looks like over time

to me this says that the spike protein antibody may be effective at reducing severity, but it surely isn't protective enough to stop waves of widespread community transmission. Will be interesting to see what that n-protein curve looks like as they update it through august as it seems like anecdotally, lots of people got it this time around who have never had it before.

Got my 4th draw results this morning. I never tested positive but had a pretty bad week in January and my 3rd draw showed it must have been Covid.

3rd Draw results:
N Protein: Positive
N Protein index: 78
S Protein: positive
S Index: greater than 2500

4th draw results:
N protein: positive
N Index: 116
S: Positive
S Index: greater than 2500

Does this mean I was exposed again if my N index has increased?

Possible but not likely. It is more likely your N was still ascending at the time of the 3rd draw.

Got 4th draw yesterday. Had OG Covid back in March 2020, no vaccine. N protein has steadily decreased with each test, started at 100 with first draw a year ago, S protein still high.

Covid: March 2020
No Vaccine
4th draw N: 30.9
4th draw S: >2500

One kid still Negative on N and S, one kid Positive for N and Negative for S. Not sure if that may be a sign of asymptomatic exposure at some point or what that means?

4th draw.

OG July 2020
Reluctantly and regretted Pfizer September 2021
Omni January/February 2022

I hope they do a 5th draw. I've had two kids with the summer sniffles past 2 weeks.

Covid positive for the first time a month ago

Pfizer 8/21

No boosters

Last Draw 2/22 : N protein negative, S Protein : 997

4th Draw 8/18 -

N Protein : 2.9

S Protein : >2500

I'll be honest, I was expecting a higher N protein. I knew S would shoot up.

Should I have waited longer to do the draw? It was 32 days after positive test

Quite possibly asymptomatic. I had a bunch positive around me early July.

Spent all of July in hospital with newborn with PA-IVS so was not around much.
