He was a bit of an unknown to many outside of Germany (and famously, to Ronaldo), but the "open heart surgery" comments Rangnick made about United's front office were quite telling to me. Rangnick is a pretty good coach… but his real brilliance at Leipzig came from in his front office roles where he was a true mastermind.

You could see him collapsing while they were panning down the field and when they pan back they were blowing the whistle. I had thought to myself, how do you get hurt on a kickoff??
