As a Celtic fan following a bit of Spurs because of Ange, this is a good video describing the role of a striker in Ange's system. Not to say Kane wouldn't have been successful in the system, but I always thought it was a bit of a weird fit. Ange loved Kyogo because of his ability to (1) finish around the six yard box (at least by Celtic's standards), (2) put pressure on the CBs through runs behind the line and (3) press. Kane is certainly a world-class finisher, but I think of him more as dropping deep to help with link up play rather than creating runs behind the defense. Also not much of a presser to my knowledge.

Must admit I'm watching Bayern vs RBL right now. Supercup final. Kane is dressed as a sub.
