Nothing was a foul on the Clippers the final 6 minutes of the half other than hitting Luka on the head when he shot a jumper. Meanwhile we got called for being knocked down on a screen away from the ball…

Since game 1 started it seemed pretty clear to me that Luka wasn't 100%. Whether it's getting over some illness or some injury not fully recovered not sure. I think its more likely to be the former.
Hes so good he can still get buckets, though.

I think he's not good after long layoffs. He gets out of shape pretty quickly.
But I think it's mostly mental. He's had times where he's getting defenders on his hip and getting in to the paint. There are times when he could do that but passes up the chance. Time for him to only think about getting to the basket and giving up on the 3.

He shot nearly 50% for the half playing his ass off on defense. You're completely disregarding how good the clippers defense is. Pick your poison, do you want him giving half effort on defense to keep his legs on offense or do you want him to try and do both. It's the playoffs man, it's not going to be pretty most games.

I just feel like a lot of his shots have been short, and he at times has lacked the little burst of speed he has in his stop-start driving. But he has also gotten after it on defense with high effort, so it could just be that he isnt sharp enough yet and is playing his way into elite form that we need to get a title.
Definitely could be part of it, as that has been true his whole career. I think we all said at the time it wasnt a bad idea to rest them, since they were beaten up down teh stretch...but Luka is a big rhythm player.shack009 said:PatAg said:
