1/ Last season, I wrote about RJ Barrett limiting the Knicks. The Knicks are 11-2 since OG’s first game post RJ trade

This season’s RJ is Jalen Green
I’ll cover:
Jalen vs. his fellow Rockets
Jalen vs. the league

Jalen Green was dead last in box outs both seasons
In his first 2 seasons, he had 5 total boxouts in 4,700+ minutes
---------------------------------
How is that possible?
The box score changed last night and Jalen ended up with 10 rebounds. So in his third season in the league, Jalen Green finally has the first double-double of his NBA career. 36 points and 10 rebounds.

Whitmore is arriving way ahead of schedule and looking like the team's best late-first round draft pick since Clint Capela these past few games.

why did Whitmore fall in the draft?
Phantom injury concerns and being an introvert lol.
His effort on the boards in the last few games has been great. He had 0 in the OT loss to the Blazers a few games ago. He played for 39 minutes without Jabari or Tari and didn't even accidentally get a rebound. We got out rebounded by 11 in that game. I'm certain Udoka chewed his ass on the entire plane ride to charlotte. With his athleticism, he should be able to average 7-8 boards a game. He has the physical tools to become one of the best rebounding guards in the game, he just has to focus on that aspect of his game.
I really hope he can build some consistency playing with this energy on the boards. We will win alot more games if does.
The NBA needs to investigate these reckless and dirty fouls by Dillon Brooks

You can’t convince me that these are “basketball plays”. He could’ve seriously injured LeBron and/or Vando. pic.twitter.com/ceR4nrrbQ3
Him grabbing the rebounds has really helped him out. I think it helps him feel way more on-ball and involved in the transition from a defensive stop to an offensive possession.AG@RICE said:
That was probably one of the best games of his career: 34/12/7, 52% FG, 40% 3PT, 100% FT, 7/1 A/TO. He basically doubled his yearly averages of 18/5/3.

I'm not saying Jalen Green saw this thread. I am saying...
— NBA Stats (@sports_mediocre) January 30, 2024
Pre-thread: 186 games, 0 double-doubles
Post-thread: 3 games, 3 double-doubles
AND best 3-game ppg on 66% TS +/- of career
AND 4th best 3-game +/- of career
But I'm not saying Jalen Green saw this thread... https://t.co/r9fJ0PYJN7

75% of the tradable 1st rd. picks are controlled by 11 teams
OKC, San Antonio, Utah, New York, Brooklyn, New Orleans, Orlando, Toronto, Houston, Memphis and Portland
That's crazy.
Funniest part(s) of Iko/Shams article: Saying #Rockets would be willing to part with someone from their Core 6 (Sengun, Green, Smith, Eason, Amen, Cam). But it likely won't be Sengun. And Amen & Cam are off the table (except for a star). And Smith & Eason aren't being moved. 😂
