New driveway got framed up today and will get poured tomorrow. To my knowledge, the old driveway was the original from 1958.

And we have a new driveway!

Ahh planting grass that will live. It's about the only thing I miss about Houston. But it's looking good!

I really dislike that paver entry path the neighbor did. Maybe it looks better in person.

The orientation of the house on the lot is giving my OCD fits.

In reply to Ducks4brkfast Tell your OCD that this orientation gives the owner the most usable area of lawn in both the front and back yards. If you center the house on the lot, both side yards become basically unusable. Right now, the back side yard is actually pretty decently sized. This is the side yard from the back patio.

My OCD refuses to listen to reason.

Project looks great. Good job on choices with fence and driveway too. Thanks for not doing something stupid with the driveway and trying to plant grass down the middle.

Passed Final Electrical Inspection on the first try:

Passed final plumbing inspection.

Garage epoxy turned out real nice. Clear coat tomorrow.

Sprinkler guys started this morning and are just about finished. 8 zones, 54 heads.

In reply to Jack Klompus Because when I called the sprinkler company (before I put in sod) they said their wait was over a month and I didn't have time to wait for that. I wasn't expecting that. I think I had budgeted for up to two weeks out and boy was I wrong. Most likely the time of year I guess. Honestly the way they put it back, you can't tell they were even there. They are good.

House is fine but Timbergrove is a war zone. This was me joking around right before it went over us and then me and my RV buddy Sayer hiding in a closet as it did. Went from 0 to 100 real quick.
