Yes, Jackson was steady but he also had a quick turn at second base if I recall. The fact that A&M finished last in the SEC in double plays by a significant amount is probably one of the most glaring stats that hurt the pitchers. I looked it up a few weeks ago and Arkansas turned something like 25 more DP's than A&M in 2014. It was an astonishing number.
