Ms. Chick, is it known what the cost difference would have been between a boring ol' "College Station" painted on the water tower and our super-awesome-visually-appealing cityscape? Did you ask them to bid it both ways?

Sorry I was on vacation, got sick, just recovered, and had to cram for the council meeting last night. Been a fun, then rough, couple of weeks.
Of the approximate $2m rehab and resurfacing of the tower, I believe approximately $150k was for the art work. That's to the best of my recollection, anyway.
