Haha, it's on Paramount+, which is CBS. CBS channels have more "important" things going on this week with March Madness. lol

Hugely smart idea to schedule it the first night of NCAAs and bury it on paramount plus and a Spanish channel.

Never change, US Soccer.

It's a CONCACAF event, not USSF.

And CONCACAF are almost always Thurs/Sun.

This is just bad timing/luck more than anything. The semis and finals are normally early summer (though the tourney is so young it's hard to know what's "normal") … this year we've got Copa starting in June 20, so they rightly bumped the scheduling, and this is the last available FIFA window before summer.

In the bad old days, it just wouldn't be on TV at all if CBS didn't want it. Paramount+ isn't great (technology-wise anyways) but considering you get US soccer and Champions League, there are worse ways to spend your money.

Jamaica will be there for the taking. We are superior on paper but I don't expect us to come in a blow them out. Should be a tough interesting game. I expect Jamaica to try to throw us off our game with various concacaf-y tactics. But here's hoping for the win!

Pretty sure they've said this is the normal window that they want to have the Nations League. So the Final moving forward is going to be in the spring rather than in June

We are by far the largest market in concacaf, had US soccer pushed they could have gotten Wed for the first game at a minimum.
And that doesn't change the god awful TV rights either. ESPm used to broadcast these, and you can't tell me whatever god awful programming g CBS sports has would get better ratings than this.
The league lets itself be used to drive up these failing streaming platforms.

Amazingly, the game is on ESPN here. Going to try and stay up for at least the first half but I fear I will be put to sleep by the performance.

Jamaica doesn't really have their team for this match. Expect it to be ugly. If we lose, it will be an absolute debacle. But, I don't expect a 4-nil drubbing of the Reggae Boyz either.

Tillman has been in form so he gets the nod in the midfield.

I think Adams can play 45 minutes, so hopefully we can get a lead early and have him lock down the defensive midfield in the second half.

Fast track at AT&T, look for a nice Weah game.

Also I think Richards and Robinson are the two best CBs in the pool, so I like this pairing. I think some people are out on Robinson, but I really like him.
