Mikey Reynolds played in Canada last year. Now looks to be in Australia. It may not pay a lot of money, but making a living playing baseball and seeing the world isn't a bad deal. His jump when stealing bases in college was something.

after watching the game last night...something happened to his fastball between St. Pius and the bigs. Could only hit 92 on the gun. And was at times throwing it in the high 80's. And it's a two-seamer.

6 years in...things have not got as planned for him or the Twins (as the #4 overall pick)

Thanks for the update. I always thought he was a good player.
Loved watching him play, especially that senior farewell tour he put on. I did not realize until recently that he actually turned down a free agent contract by the Pittsburgh Pirates out of college. The Chicago Dogs released a baseball card set as a stadium giveaway last year that has Moroney in it. I am trying to find one to add to my A&M collection.

That was my recollection that he chose not to pursue pro ball and I didn't understand why. I guess he missed it.to much and came back to independent ball. Another Aggie Airhog was Greg Porter. I never understood why Porter didn't get some MLB time.

Wilson was DFA'd by the Brewers. Will know in the next week what happens next. The Brewers GM has stated he hopes Wilson would take a minor league contract.

Nice ballpark. Similar to other new parks. Nice setting by Red Rock Casino & Downtown Summerlin. Great to see palm trees & mountains.

Down 1-0 thru 1 1/2. Mengden gave up 1 run in 1st on a leadoff double and 2 long fly balls. Looked better in 2nd.

I had just looked him up a couple mins ago.. his stat sheet went to pitching stats instead of hitting stats and i was think wtf...

He always had a live arm

I can't find it, but I remember he was signed specifically as a pitcher last summer. The reason why he just now made his first appearance was to allow him to work on pitching and arm strength.
